O Wittgenstein!

Strange that the killing machine of the rulers of this world, the armed force of the powers that rule this country, is called "The Service," and one in The Service "serves" in the service.

Yet the life-giving ordering of the followers of the One who "came to serve" is called "Ministry," [from the Latin] and one in the Ministry ministers in the ministry.
Can you imagine simply reversing the words? The Ministry of Armed Force; The Service of God's servants...

No one wants to be called a "servant." Much better to be called a "Minister" like the Prime Minister or the Ministry of Public Works! Sounds like it has power! Who wants to be among the "least of his brethern" when you can Lead and hold Power?
