"Taking Communion" to the Homebound

Communion for the homebound should be provided not in a silver box or minature communion sets or should it even be celebrated at their home or hospital room or the like. It should be carried just as Little Red Riding Hood took food to her grandmother, in a basket, with a linen napkin holding in its warmth, a portion of the supper that the whole family shared, a portion of that supper shared with the member of the family that could not be present at the dining table-- the same meal of fellowship with the whole family!
